EGGS IN TOMATOES!

wake up quite early this morning (around 9am!)
the house is quite as usual, i am the first to wake up in the family (except my dad who went to work!)
open the fridge and a container of tomatoes is right in front of me!
so, i took it out and start to think what to do with it!

 This !

grilled tomato pouch egg! =)
so this is what u need ( 2 ingredient only!) : Tomatoes + eggs
what u need to do:
1. preheat the oven for about 10 minutes with 200 degree
2. place the aluminium foil on the tray
3. halve the tomatoes
4. Pour the eggs in the tomatoes (for me, one egg with one tomato)
5. place them on the foil
6. carefully, insert it into the oven
7. Grill it for about 10-15 minutes with 200 degree
8. take it out carefully with glove and let it cool!
9. eat it!

actually, i also do some grilled lettuce!
this is just an experiment
I want to try how it tastes
hmm... it tastes a bit like seaweed
It is burnt, because I grilled them for 15 minutes, over-grilled!
i rolled it and use as decoration for my tomatoes!

My BREAKFAST!

Bro's smiling Tomato

Mum's !

FOOD PRESENTATION!
to me, i think how you present your food is very important, it will affect the mood of the person who eat it!
so, i like to decorate my food, i want the person who is eating to be happy!

I think it is successful
i am sort of sense of achievement because this is my FIRST TIME doing this!
Tomatoes are healthy and low in calories!
A tomato has an average of 17 calories (so low!) and it is filling
i remember when i was young, my mum used to tell me tomatoes are good for the skin!
So, try this, easy and simple!

Experience!

On the way back to JB
This means that I officially leave subang jaya althought I m coming back in early December
Running up and down for an hour to shift all my stuff into the car
In this case, I really thank my mum & dad for helping me out!

Leaving subang jaya, means that I officially end my college life!
In this whole year, I learnt a lot, experience new things!
Maybe I should list down one by one!

In SAM Student council, I learnt on how to organize events!
We have held lecturers day, #YOLO carnival drive...
WE also design &  sell SAM TSHIRT
Having round table meetings on how to improve the life of our college friends....
Not to mention that early of this year, during our election, public speaking skills and communication skills that I have learnt!
I still remember how nervous I was standing on the stage and giving speeches !!
Most importantly, I mixed with a group of friends and a helpful teacher advisor, ms Wong!

As a FAM Vice President, I am able to express mt thoughts through arts!
Leading a club in college is totally different from secondary school!
Basically, I need too start every from scratch!
Organizing general meetings, thinking what suit the members more, making decisions....

I also represented FAM in classroom experience KL as an assistant head of financial department!
Learning more on the financial plan and sponsorship as well as collecting receipts
In classroom experience KL, I also involved in teaching those young kids on making PUKKA pens!
It is a great experience
But, I gain the lessons that never let children handle water color or other liquid based art material
Because it will be a MESS!

I was the event director of WHIMSICAL SCIENCE CLUB!
This year, the club has made a big move to organize TAYLORS YOUNG SCIENTIST OF THE YEAR!
To be honest, I didn't really do a lot in this event as I was busy with exams & assignments during that period of time!
And because of that, I became the emcee of the finals!
That was the not the first time for me, but first time to be an emceeing a competition!
It is exciting and challeging!

As for MADU (make a difference united), I realized that being an teacher especially kindergarten teacher is not N easy task!
FYI, MADU is a volunteering job that specially for SAM students
I went to PJS 5 to give free tuition for English and maths!
Most of my students are Indians and they were so cute!
But handing them is not fun at all!
In this programme, I saw the different part of the world!
Knowing that not everyone as fortunate as me, having parents that able to support my studies and comfortable life!
I really thank my parents for these past 18 years!
I think I am more matured now, treasure what I have more & complaint less !

Besides, I am also the  student ambassador!
Maybe I have mentioned earlier, I am a recipient of PRINCIPAL ARWARD
So I am selected to be a student ambassador
I am in the conference team (actually I chose to be!)
This is also the reason I m going back to subang jaya next month!
I am part of the organizing committee of this TAYLORS YOUTH SUMMIT!
I am in charge of the financial & registration!
In this case, I learnt on budgeting a event and the process of registration & payment method!
To me this is indeed a value experience as I will need all these skills in the future!

In short, thank you taylors college!
Not only for giving me tuition fee waive of rm 15 k, but also the great experience!
To me, I don't regret leaving home and go all the way to taylors college!

boss's "bully"

In this world there are people who just like to control others
They want everyone to just follow what they want
In other words, to them, the world revolves around them
They are the most important person and others are nothing
I seriously don't understand why they are such people exits in this world

As human being, it is true that we are individual and we should protect ourselves
It is okay to be a bit self centered
But not ordering others to do things just for you
Remember, nobody owes you, there isn't any valid reason for others to do things for you
Maybe it is a batter trade but they are still helping you

Just like a boss give his workers salary, the workers is not his slave, without the workers he cannot earn money and be a boss!
Give and take!
Although you give the workers money but bear in mind that the workers deserve the money because they put in their effort and work hard!
Not to mention, some people get a job that's based on their interest!

I always see employers "bully" their domestic helper!
The employers try their best to squelch the maids!
I know one maid who told me that she needs to clean 3 places everyday!
She cleans the house of her employer, the office and one of the houses of her employer rent out!
She is always tired but she still needs to cook meals everyday
Not to mention that her salary is just rm450 per month plus she had worked for this employer for more than 3 years!
Through our dialog, I think her employer treats her like a SALVE!
Yeah, the employer does pay her but a minimal salary!
I don't know how her employer thinks maybe she have the thought of I pay her and she need to do for me!
But, bear in mind that she is only a worker not your slave !!

I don't why but sorry to say usually these "employer" I mentioned are Chinese !
People say that Chinese are calculative, in this case, I wouldn't argue!

#throwback second day in langkawi

My biological alarm rang at 8.30am
I slept very late though
Having stomach ache, perhaps the tom yam I ate last night

Actually our room comes with buffet breakfast
But we have 24 people but breakfast for only 16 pax
Anyway we got ready at 9.30am but the breakfast end at 10am (I called to ask!)
Basic buffet breakfast is served
I ate quite a lot as I am too hungry!

The second day is actually spent time together in the hotel!
We played volleyball, fustal....
You are Right, under the hot sun!
Although I applied sunblock but still.... HOT!

Anyway, we have lunch separately
My "roommates" plus 3 boys went to walk around the hotel
We settled our lunch at a Chinese restaurant that is air conditioned
Because the weather is too hot!

Fried sotong, seafood tomyam, pineapple duck, stir fried veg + butter prawns! !!
Awesome dinner! =)
At night, we rented 1 van and 2 cars!
And here we went for SEAFOOD dinner
We ate a lot of mouth watering food!
But the price is very reasonable, only rm17!
Thanks to NIGEL, he knows the boss of the restaurant
So , DISCOUNT!
After dinner, we went to CENANG MALL, a new mall!

this is how the beach looks like in the night!

Back to hotel, we gathered on the beach and start our GAME!
WATCHING CRAB!
I know it sounded silly, but it is really fun!
Using hand phone's light to search for "holes"
Then started digging
Screaming, running when crabs were out!
Nowadays city kids like us felt so fun playing this!

Lunch date!

This is my dearest ex roommate!
She is XIU YUN
Wr only knew each other this year but we are close like sisters!
Beats me!  I also dunno why we can be that close in a short period of time

Xiu yun   is considered my senior
One year elder and have completed her a level in the last June
This also means that she left me this June
But after that she visited me once in college while she was taking her IELTS
Anyway we haven't met each other for about 3 months, I miss yhe days we spent together!
Especially comparing her with my current roommate!

Alright we finally have time to hang out in mid valley!
We had out lunch and talked about lots of things!
From studies to future, from hospital System in Malaysia to religion!
Perhaps I will share the religion part in the next post
We hung up at purple cane for hours
Because the tea is refillable and it id cheap
For 2 ringgit per pax for tea I guess it is cheap!

Xiu yun have class at 4pm in IMU
So we left at 3.45pm
But now, we are still waiting for the train! Train delayed!
It is  quite normal in Malaysia
The public transport is seldom on time!

Xiu yun, I will miss you!
Come jb to visit me when u are free!
I will bring you around!
You are the best roommate ever !
All the best in your future!
Thank you very much!

I LOVE YOU AS A FRIEND

Not that you are not good
You are just not my cup of tea.....

Don't ask me why
It is just no chemistry between us
I thank you!
Thanks for loving me
Thank you for everything you did for me
Seriously, I am touched
But I am sorry at the same time

When you ask me, what do I think about you....
I just don't understand the purpose of you doing things
Perhaps we have different point of view
We see things differently
Seriously, I really don't understand what are you thinking
i know everything you did have a reason behind it
it is just i don't know how to appreciate

When you asked me what should you change....
To me, you don't need to change
You are who you are
No point changing just because of me
I don't want you to change
Just be yourself
One day you will find someone that knows you & understand you
Changing yourself will not make me feel anything
i hope that you can find someone that can accept who you are

To me, you are a friend, a friend that will help me when I am in need
Perhaps you need time to digest
But believe me, I really don't suit you!
And I also believed that I have hinted you a few times
We can be friends, good friends and that's all
I am really sorry if I hurt you

Don't ask me about the future...
Nobody knows what will happen in the future
but i can tell you that...
i love you too, as a friend!

ps: i always feel bad rejecting someone! =(

You MINDSET your LIFE!

I always believe that MINDSET is very important!
Your MIND decide your LIFE!
MINDSET is the key of SUCCESS IN LIFE!
It is like how u think will affect how your life be!
To me, everything is about MINDSET!
How u set your MIND to be!

If u tell yourself u are smart, everyday, u tell ur self u are smart!
I believe if you are not really smart, you won't be stupid either way !

If you want to pass exam with flying colors, you set your MIND that u can DO IT!
Then, u can!
Of course, u must work hard!
But, believe me, if ur mind is SET to ACHIEVE, u will automatically work hard!
This is what I always think!

When I was young, my English teacher (if I m not mistaken madam GOH) had gave us a special task!
She asked us to sing a sort of "u are beautiful" song
And we were requested to sing this song in front of the mirror everyday to the person in the mirror!
That time I was in primary 4, and the obedient me do so for around a month!
And FYI, I really think that I AM BEAUTIFUL!
I am not sure whether is it a effect of the song or what, but I really think that I am beautiful since then!

Learn how to praise youselves, I know is kind of sad!
However, usually self praise is the only and the best praise!

Actually, as an Asian, I m sorry to say that we don't really like to praise ourselves!
We always have the thought to be HUMBLE!
But, this is not humble! This is low self esteem !
I like this is the most obvious difference between Asian and non Asian !
When people praise us, we reply with " no lah!" , " just okay!", "really? I don't think so!"....
Then we started to praise the person who praise us! And things go round and round!
Yet, deep inside our heart, we feel GREAT!
How many of us can really reply "thank you!" When others compliment us?

YOU CAN IF YOU BELIEVE,
YOU CAN IF YOU WANT,
There is nothing is impossible in this world!

#throwback langkawi day 1

So let me conclude my langkawi class trip!
As I mentioned earlier, this is my FIRST class trip in my entire life!
To be honest, I am really EXCITED!

beautiful view from the plane!

We reached the airport of langkawi around 6pm
Hopping on a taxi and arrived the hotel
When we are at the hotel, we were told to pay extra rm30 per pax
Because we got an extra bed for each room!
We need to pay, but we don't need to be packed!
FYI, we stayed at holiday villa!

Anyway, the first day was almost gone!
We had our dinner at a restaurant that sell western & Chinese food just right outside the hotel
The prices was quite reasonable
Tom yam seafood soup is the main dish for us (the four girls)
Others ordered personal set!
After dinner, we walked around!
Actually quite far, my classmates bought liquor from the convenient shop
They said it is cheap as it is duty free!

We watched movie, played cards, gossip till late midnight
I guess around 3am we went back to our room

That's the end of our first day!

Just guess !

First day after exam!
Guess where  i?
HahaU cannot believe it!

Basically it is a low cost airport terminal! I m flying to langkawi in an hour time!
This is my FIRST class trip!
Hurray!

THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING!

Continued from the LAST HOMES VISIT!
Thank you everyone for accompanying me for these past few months!
Thank you for bringing joy to me!
Thanks for the delicious food!

First of all I think the first person I need to thank is ISABELLE, she is the one who brought me into this wonderful HOMES

Mun Choong
He is always friendly and cheerful
Sort of happy-go-lucky person
Currently working + studying @ imperial college (estate Management)

Competing height! (i lose!)

AlWin!
The person who deal with the slides on TV!
Without him, I don’t think I can sing the songs (I cannot remember the lyrics!!)
Doing ACCA @ sunway

Victor
Also from JB
A level, Taylor’s College
Want to be a doctor!

joshua And his friend, Joseph (this is his first visit)
joahua, The announcer of HOMES
Both from taylor’s A level!

Nicole, same age
From muar (isabelle’s friend)

Yee See
The owner of the house!
She is one of the people that used to fetch us!

Actually, still got a bunch of people!

GASTRO CAFE @SS15

Having lunch alone!
Actually it is considered a late lunch? 2.30pm?
Most of my friends haVe taken their lunch, so poor me alone!
Actually someone did offer to accompany me, but I kinda don't want to trouble others
So, rejected!

independent me!! =P

Alright, this is who I am!
I m quite independent, maybe to many people i m VERY INDEPENDENT !!
I can settle many things on myself, I seldom asked help!
If I ask for a favor, which means that thing I cannot settle alone! So, help me!
But, this is just who I am!

Anyway, I walked quite far to this place! GASTRO CAFE!
it is right opposite to HOME MADE!
It is known as authentic hainaness culinary!
Hmm... I never try hainaness food before (except Hainan chicken rice!)
So basically, I don't know what hainaness food looks and tastes like!
Actually, I saw it on Groupon too! But I didn't but the coupons!

Okay, they have set lunch!!
I came in at 2.32pm which already past 2.30pm!
But, when I asked for lunch set (just ask for fun, I don't know is their any lunch set as this is my FIRST time!)
Anyway, the kindhearted staff passed me the set lunch menu!

So this is what I had!
GASTRO CHIVKEN CHOP (in Chinese:hainan style chicken chip)
It served with a bread, I don't know why!
Apparently, u can dip the bread into the sauce!
The sauce is neither black pepper nor mushroom!
It is sweet, I think because of the onions!
The portion is big! But I finished it! So hungry!
The price is reasonable! This set cost rm12.90!
To be frank, not very nice but filling!

The lunch set comes with an ice lemon tea!
To me, it is too sweet!
I have a sweet Tooth but I don't like sweet beverage!

I browse through the menu!
The price is very reasonable!
You can get a chicken rice at rm5.50! In this environment, worth it!
The drinks are pretty cheap too! Almost the same price as hawker center!

Talking about the environment, it is cosy and quite quiet! Maybe because of odd hour too!
But the wifi is not working!!
I am going to spend my afternoon here! Do revision!

Initially I wanted to have an ICE CREAM STRAWBERRY CHEESECAKE
but, out of stock
so this is ICE CREAM MOCHA FUDGE!
i am very disappointed! I taste just like normal chocolate ice cream and nuts on it!
nothing special
no FUDGE at all! =(
The address---
4 JLN SS15/4B SUBANG JAYA

NO RESERVATION @ SS15

it was raining, not cats and dog!
after maths studies exam, it suddenly started to pour!
And because of this plan changed, change to a better plan for me!
initially, MEI HUEY suggested to go Sushi King @ First Subang
but, since raining, it is sort of impossible for us to walk there from college!
So, I suggested NO RESERVATION!

i heard friends mentioned it and said it is NICE & worth trying! But I never try it!
it is actually same row as Mcdonald but upstairs!
the signboard is green and it is very obvious!
we walked in the rain (with umbrella) just to reach there!! =P

the environment is pretty good
it made you feel comfortable, not like typical restaurant but like a place that u can relax
i believed this is mostly due to the lighting and the music!
it played Japanese music, but not the pop song!

use this to order food!

the way you order is also pretty unique!
it is sort of self service!
There are pictures at the entrance and below each picture there will be cards
if u want to eat that food, just take one of the card and bring it to the counter to pay for it!
it reminded me a Japanese Buffet at JB, they used the same concept too!

time for photo while waiting for food!

actually, if you come before 12pm, you can get a MUG that allowed you to have free flow drinks
but, we went around 3pm, so NO FREE DRINKS
but, the boss still give us because this is our FIRST time here!
so good!
there  is a range of drinks for you to choose : white coffee, milo, peach tea, ice lemon tea, green tea & sky juice!
You can just refill yourselves, so don't need to feel embarrassed !!

So this is the boss + chief! (opps, not clear! sorry!)
he is really friendly!
he is a Japaneses, from tokyo!
to me, i think he is GREAT
the whole shop, he is the only one there!
this means that he is the cook, cashier, waiter! OMG!

the food is served a bit slow, because it is a one-man-show! so it is reasonable!
it took around 15-20 minutes for the food to be served!

This is what I had!
udon shio buta (rm10.90)
MEI HUEY chose it for me! because i had no idea what to order!
personally, the pork is too fat for me! (but others like my brother will love it!)
it is quite big portion and i cannot finish it!

MEI HUEY's soba + fried potato (i forgot the name of this dish!)
it is quite nice, i love the cheese actually!
the soup is actually same as the daily soup served!
it cost rm10.90!

Curry Katsu (chicken) Udon for ISABELLE!
it is not spicy at all
quite standard

did i mention about the FREE soup?
the shop do serve FREE daily soup
not miso but sort of cabbage soup!
I don't think he put any Ajinomoto into, it tastes just nice!

btw, after we did a survey, each of us got a sushi plate FOC!
so this is what he get!
you are actually free to choose whatever you want from the menu!
so there are mayo salmon roll, ebiko sushi and the vege sushi!!

good food, sweet memories!

Basically the food is quite nice, u can feel a bit like home cooked food
not salty but taste healthy!
Typical Japanese food!
