FIRST time trying indonesia food in Melbourne
although i have a lot indonesian friends, we dont go out for indonesian food instead korean and japanese more often

anyway, here i am after Acts service!
17 of us tram down to king street to eat this
it is quite near southern cross
from outside, it looks nothing special
but inside, WOW!! crowed!!
because we have a huge group, we went upstairs
a bit like private function because we are the only one occupying the place!

sharing is caring, plus can taste more food and save $$
seriously, in Australia, the portion is big especially for girls
so sharing is one of the best ways to save money cum try a variety of dishes
my damage is only $12!

today's talk is about the touch of God
Pastor Kenneth came to Melbourne and he will be here for 2 weeks
he shared about a story of an old lady he met 18 years ago
it is a very touching story
she just went to a church service once and her life is totally upside-down
she parents are strong Buddhist (from the story, i think so) and hate christian very much
the old lady gave up everything, family, pride, comfortable life.....
just because of one time she went to church and she believe in Christ

i don't know why but compare to her my situation is much better
at least my dad don't really forbid me from going to Christianity activities
just than he don't like i am too into it
he claimed that i will be irrational if i am too deep inside
anyway, i believe i am doing the right thing now

seriously, i don't think i will give up everything i have right now and follow Jesus
maybe i am still not strong enough

no choice, have to go out!

tea time (but i take coffee!) ! Cake and Coffee is a classic!

have a mocha with a small slice of chocolate cake

it is dirt cheap! 3.90 for this combo!

the mocha is just normal

but the coffee art is quite cool

to be honest, the cake is not nice

i am really disappointed

i know the price is low, but the cake is too dry

not like a cake from a cakeshop

too sweet also

yet, is a good place to study, not many people there
leave there in 2 hours because i need to go toilet but there isn't any there! =P

Wonder-BAU!

I skipped class!!

I don't have practical for physics this week

So my first class is 1pm

I hevent had lunch! And don't feel like going for class

I just accepted the NUS offer

Having mixed feeling, I am leaving Melbourne, this one of the greatest place on earth!

So decided to skip chemistry!

I am really lucky that I have a friend like LIHui

She accompanied me! Although she have lunch already!

 So we went to WONDERBAO!

It is one of the best cheap eat! Based on the booklet from uni!

I wanted to go for times but cannot find the place

Yet, this time I managed to find it! It is in a sort of shopping mall, no wonder I cannot find it!

This small little shop sells delicious bao!

There is limited selection of bao!

i heardthat their ssoya milk is nice

it is homemade!

I have a braised pork belly bau with a taro bao

The taro bau is actually for LiHui, she loves taro very much!

The pork belly bau is pretty nice!

Not very salty, I like it!

It costs $4.2 which LiHui and I feel that it is quite expensive 

The taro is $2 but quite weird, I mean the taste!

But this is a good place to hang out!

The view outside the shop is amazing!

It is a art street!

Love this to max!

Relax for an hour then go back uni!

Lunch after church service @ rice workshpp

This is my first time serving as a Acts Host!
Great experience!
Found that it is not an easy task!
Need to welcome people, serve communion, in charge of giving & refreshment!
So next time I will appreciate more all the people serving in church!
But I m not regret because it is a good opportunity to learn more things and serve god is amazing!

I ♥ the concept of the place, I mean the deco!
It is a self service & considered fast food japaness concept store
The price is reasonable
Even if a combo meal is below $10
A combo consists salad, miso & green tea! 

I have their spicy teriyaki chicken! 

This is the regular which cost me $ 6.90

For a girl, it is really filling :-D

COFFEA COFFEE @ SS15

After lunch, KAREN & I decided to go to COFFEA COFFEE!

Karen need to wait for her mum to fetch her in the evening

I sort of no place no go (actually I can go to college!)

Anyway, we just want to try new things!

I heard that the coffee is awesome!

To be frank, we are not hungry at all, after all we just had our lunch!

It is quite far from my house! I just need to walk around 15-20 minutes!

It is at the Joe’s Kitchen area, near public bank!

So this is the place!

It is very cosy and cool, just like all coffee shop!

It is a bit like FLATWHITE!

So, this is what I ordered!

I like the coffee ART!

It costs me rm11 after tax!

(which is almost the price of my LUNCH)

Don’t really taste that good (again, I am not really fancy of COFFEE)

The staff are pretty friendly but you really need to wait a long time for your coffee!

It took around 15 minutes for the coffee to be served!

Btw, the wifi speed is very fast (faster than college!)

 we just like to take photos!! 

Both of us hung out there till around 6pm (because of heavy rain)

We talked a lot, about studies, friends, housemates, landlady, future….

I really love Karen, sweet & straight! We don’t hide our thought or beat around the bush!

after lunch with ching lin & jaymus, we passed by THE LOAF!
Breads! Cakes! and Desserts!

i love them!
But, cannot eat too much! Later become too fat!
anyway, see what i bought!

actually, i also don't know what it oyaki!
it just seems special (as i never tried it) plus it is cheap!
i spent a lot this week! later still need to buy cake!
so, need to save $$$

To me, a bit too bitter (green tea taste bitter)

I still prefer sweet stuff!

to be frank, i don't know what this called!

When I take in from the display tray the label stated "chocolate banana oyaki"

But when I foot the bill the staff punch "BLACK BEAUTY"

so, for this thing i pay rm2.80!

to me, it is chocolate banana!

i like chocolate!

TIME FOR SALAD!

It is time for salad again! 

So let's see what I have for this week!

I went to SUNWAY and bought these fresh veggies!

For all these veggies, I need only RM9 (they are all organic!) 

it is considered cheap

so, making salad for meals not only LOSE WEIGHT but also $AVE !!

This week, I have CRISPY LETTUCE, PURPLE LETTUCE and a .... (dunno what veggie?)

i like the chunky sound produced when u bite it! 

PURPLE LETTUCE

It's real name is Lactuca Virosa

It tastes a bit bitter!

To reduce the bitter taste, I used lemon juice as the dressing!

It has purple leaves! 

i am not very sure what is the name of this veggie

I see it looks CUTE, so I bought it!

Maybe you can tell me the exact name? 

It tastes a bit like bean sprout! 

And it is an example of my salad of this week!

salad + ribena!! GOOD COMBINATION! 

Usually, I only bring a salad to college only if I am having meeting during my break time!

I was having meetings this whole week and last week

Anyway, thanks to those meetings, I have a healthier diet!

However, I think I should cut down my ECA and focus on my studies more!

Anyway, ECA is not important in university application, right?

Everything just so happened 

Initially I wanted to go krispy kreme again

Because I can sit there and spend my whole afternoon there for just rm3 (a doughnut)

But, i am a bit bored so doughnut already

So I think of "why not go Asian avenue to see anything new?"

Cozy corner, I think this is the best term to describe this place!

It is actually not located at a corner, but it gives me the feel of a corner, I don't why!

I realized that the whole place only used 3 colors : orange, black and white! 

I love their chair, so cute!

The teddy bear at the corner many the entire place even more cozy and comfortable !

I believe this will be a good place for me to revise my studies!hehe 

I am not the only one studying here, the girl sitting beside me also studying, I guess it is related to accounting, I saw books about it!

I have ordered a mango sundae crepe! And now I am waiting for it!

This is the promotion of the month!

Usual price is rm9.90 but now it is rm 7.90!

They even teach you how to use the plastic wrapper! I never thought of plastic paper also can function like this!
