Good question!

I have joined the off Carlton last Friday night(yesterday is my second time)

As I am still exploring Christian, I joined the bible discovery group!

This is a small bible study discussion that allowed me to ask as many questions as I want and not being laugh by others (hurray!)

So, Yan Yan is one of the group member!

The group consist of many Christians who are pretty familiar to the bible plus newbies like me!

Obviously, Yan Yan is a Christian!

Last night after the bible study, we decided to have a gathering to bond together!

So that's why I am here today!

There is a bit twist and turn but we needed up at Yan yan's house!

We have an awesome dinner!

Got a lot of FOOD!

Sausages, bread, salad, drumstick, corn......

After dinner, we have game section where we really have fun!

I forget what the game called (ops, I m getting old!)

Anyway, it is fun that I need to keep saying "I wouldn't do that!"

I don't know why I always find that people who go to church is easy going

They always think positively, you hardly hear anything negative come out from their mouth!

They are friendly and can get along pretty well!

Maybe we don't have any competition or clashing of benefit!

I love mixing around with them!

Simple dinner after a clumsy day!

Yogurt with fresh strawberries! Delicious!
I bought strawberries at Queen Victoria market for only 50 cents.
Dirt cheap!But it can only last for 2-3 days!

Praise god

Can u imagine what happened to me last night during my second lab practical?

Let me tell u what exactly happened!

Firstly, I left my apartment at 6.05pm where my prac starts at 6.15pm and I am not allowed to be late for more than 5 minutes!

The journey from my apartment to the lab venue usually takes 10-15 minutes!

Tat means I am in a RUSH!

Why I am late? Why cannot I leave earlier?

Okay, it is my fault! 

I attended the knitting lesson organized by the wom*n department till 5pm

Purposely I have enough time to go back to take my dinner and lab stuff!

But.... There is always a BUT!

I left my thumb drive in the Erc computer lab and received a SMS to collect it!

So I went all the way to the computer lab's information centre!

The staff pulled out a drawer and told me to look for it from the drawer!

However, I CANNOT FIND it!

The staff asked me to. Show her the email sent to me!

"Omg, what email! I received a SMS only!" I was really shocked!

I told her the scenario and she claimed that it should be someone get my contact number from the information of my thumb drive and smsed me!

Because the library will not SMS students!

I went all the way down to level 1 to the computer that I used and finally I GOT IT!

I put my resume and soft copies of all my cents in the thumb drive, it is IMPORTANT for me!

I reached the apartment and realized that I didn't bring my purse!

What this means? Means I don't have the card access to the building as I put it in the purse! (But I brought my room keys)

I waited for 10 minutes but no one came down so I called my housemate but no answered!

Luckily I guy came out after 15 minutes!

So I wasted my time!

I took my lab coat, googles and lab note book and ran all the way to the lab!

I sweat like hell and I finally get into the lab on time!

What that's not the worst part!

I am terrified when I see everyone (not really, but most of them) were holding their lab manual and cover page along with them!

Most importantly, I didn't see any lab manual and cover page in the working place!

Last week, during the first experiment, everything was provided

I thought it will be the same for this week. But reality is NO!

Gosh, I am dead this time, I read the lab manual but not familiar with it!

I don't know what I need to do!

When I told my case to the demonstrator, she is like the "so what u want me to do, it is your duty" look!

I am totally nervous!

When she is  explaining the experiment, I PRAYED!

I prayed that God will help me, He will lead me, I know is my fault for not being prepared but only this time, no more next!

MIRICLE Happens!

I mange to share the lab manual with the boy beside me! Thank you, Samuel!

What really amazing is I am the first time in believe in god create wonders!

I manage to complete the eerie eng, not only that but I am the first one!

Praise god!

And thank god!

Internet Access + ME!

So now i finally know how important is the internet!
I am currently in melbourne where the apartment i stay do not provide internet
My flatmates intend to share a wifi and it is still in the process (apparently the process takes around 2 weeks, so LONG!)
So now i am living with only 2gb data phone plan! (dying!)

PEOPLE NOWADAYS CANNOT LIVE WITHOUT INTERNET!

THERE ARE A FEW REASONS BEHIND IT :

1. Applications!!!
In advanced countries like Australia, everything is done with the internet!
University enrollment needs to done ONLINE!
Subjects enrollment is ONLINE too!!
Even timetabling is also ONLINE!!!
If you don't have Internet access basically you do NOTHING!!

Talking about banking, you need to do INTERNET BANKING which requires Internet access!
Why Internet banking? apparently in Australia you can only transfer money with Internet baking!
not to mention that i even need to apply a bank acc. ONLINE!

What about TFN? Tax File Number is something like the number for each individuals to pay income tax!
Even if you don't work, you need that too!
And again, apply it ONLINE through www.ato.com.au !

Almost everything is done ONLINE! it is really environmental friendly as it is PAPERLESS!

2. Enquiry!!

Got something to ask? not to sure about smt?
In Australia, you don't really need to make phone calls!
You can CHAT ONLINE!! you get immediate reply by the staff or representative! so cool!
not only chat online, you can even TWEET!
Library of university of Melbourne have twitter that you can ask almost everything about it through twitter!!
besides, if there is something formal, just EMAIL!
No more paper forms to fill, instead online forms like google drive!

3. Connections

Wanna keep in contact with new or old friends, use SOCIAL NETWORK!!
There are tons of them!!
Personally, i use FB, Insta, WeChat, Line, Whatapps.....
Especially in connecting with my friends back in Malaysia or Singapore, i use all these!
FYI, i am using a mobile package which has unlimited TXT to international and local!
So i do sms my friends overseas but i will ask them to reply me through social network because it is FREE!

Now, tell me how many of us can live without Internet Access?
but I really wonder why in Australia there is not so many FREE WIFI spots like Malaysia.
they depends much on ONLINE but hard to find FREE INTERNET ACCESS!!
what if someone dont have mobile data, how can they survive?

Orientation begins!

Having Orientation today! First day! It is awesome! My host, Yanik is from sri Lanka and he brought us tour around the campus and telling us some fun stuff in uni! He is doing mechanical engineering system year 3!

I met a lot of people today.  Under yanik,  there is another girl, June who is also from Malaysia and most importantly she is from A level Jan 2012, same batch as SIEW yun! I also met, Jac chin and his gf, Jac was the head of department of finance in the classroom Kl last year (I was his vice) he is doing commerce and under jpa! He got aud 1200 per month from jpa! 

Remember I met a girl viduni, from sri Lanka that like me dunno which type of engineering to take? We gathered together and hanged out in the south lawn! There is a band singing and we just sat on the grass, enjoying our popcorn which is FREE! Viduni introduced her friend selina, from China and misaki,  Japanese! They are very friendly too

THIS IS HOW FRIENDSHIP BREAKS 

Both friends will think that they are too busy

They will not contact each  other thinking it may be disturbing

As time passes, both will think... "let the other contact me"

After a while, each will think... "why should I contact first?"

Here, your love will gradually be converted to pride

Finally, without contact, the memory becomes weak

They forget each other.....

One day they will meet and blame one another

So, let's keep in touch, my dear friend

I don’t wanna be one of those kind of friends

i don't know why...
feel like i dont have a space in this place anymore
feel a bit like there is no longer a place for me!
i want to escape from here
but where can i go!
i have nowhere that can give me comfort!
that is no place that have a place for me!
i am homeless, nowhere to go & i don't know what to do!

perhaps $$ is really important!
if i have $$, i can buy myself a place and call it 'home'!
this "home" can be more than a shelter, it can also be a place that i know i will never be hurt

$$ cannot buy LOVE
but it can solve problems
