FIRST time trying indonesia food in Melbourne
although i have a lot indonesian friends, we dont go out for indonesian food instead korean and japanese more often

anyway, here i am after Acts service!
17 of us tram down to king street to eat this
it is quite near southern cross
from outside, it looks nothing special
but inside, WOW!! crowed!!
because we have a huge group, we went upstairs
a bit like private function because we are the only one occupying the place!

sharing is caring, plus can taste more food and save $$
seriously, in Australia, the portion is big especially for girls
so sharing is one of the best ways to save money cum try a variety of dishes
my damage is only $12!

today's talk is about the touch of God
Pastor Kenneth came to Melbourne and he will be here for 2 weeks
he shared about a story of an old lady he met 18 years ago
it is a very touching story
she just went to a church service once and her life is totally upside-down
she parents are strong Buddhist (from the story, i think so) and hate christian very much
the old lady gave up everything, family, pride, comfortable life.....
just because of one time she went to church and she believe in Christ

i don't know why but compare to her my situation is much better
at least my dad don't really forbid me from going to Christianity activities
just than he don't like i am too into it
he claimed that i will be irrational if i am too deep inside
anyway, i believe i am doing the right thing now

seriously, i don't think i will give up everything i have right now and follow Jesus
maybe i am still not strong enough

Pancake with terikayi Chicken!

This is really awesome!

It is just located opposite the Lincoln square tram stop! Near ecompass!

To be honest, this is the first time I come here but I have tried their oko burger during Acts HOMES last month. That burger basically it replace normal burger bun to pancake (japaness style pancake) which is full with veggie and absolutely healthy!

For person who wants to lead a healthy lifestyle (although I always fail) it is really a good choice!

Anyway, the price cost around $8.90 and it really worth the price!

The serving might looks a bit small (especially for boys) but it is really filling!

Why I will come here?

Haha, actually my friend treat me this!

I have an appointment with my friend, actually my church leader who is very helpful to introduce me apartment to buy as my family is interested to invest one here!

Throughout the whole conversation, I know more on how property works in Australia

As an international student who holds a temporary visa more than 12 months, I am allowed to buy a second-hand property by applying and also a brand new apartment!

My friends, Joshua introduced 2 apartments to me, one near Victoria market and another at west Melbourne

The one near Vic market (590k) can only be done in 2016 and west Melbourne (520K) can move in now

To be frank, both don’t appear to suit me

Because I wanted to move in ASAP and I want it to be near the city and Melb University.

But now I feel so bad!

I am looking for a 2 bedroom apartment for maximum 500k , I wish it is brand new and it is near uni and city plus can move in sem 2!

LAST HOMES visit

I really hate it when every good thing comes to an end!

This probably will be my LAST HOMES visit! (unless I manage to make it on 15.11)

I started going HOMES since second semester

Brought by my housemate ISABELLE

I met awesome people there, people who willing to accept who you are and friendly!

I still remember vividly the first time I join them was watching PACIFIC RIM

It was sort of a church activity where the church booked the whole movie theatre !! My first impression was : WOW!!

Then, I attended HOMES !!

It was quite interesting!

Again, I m not a Christian

But I enjoy going there!

I mixed new friends, praised god, had nice food, discussed about bible….

Yeah, they do have sort of bible studies stuff

We discussed certain issues, point of view, the message from God….

Don’t get me wrong, although I am a freethinker I still believe in God

Usually, they will share some thought regarding the God

However, I see those things from a perspective of human nature, so I always have different thought from them!

I guess this is because I am a freethinker

Actually, who says bible only for Christian?

The bible can be for everyone!

Believe me, no God will teach you bad things!

God teaches us to be good, to be polite!

So, as a freethinker, I see no reason why you reject bible Or Quran and stuff

Bible is just something like moral, they tech you about life!

Besides, in Homes, they really make me feel easy!

Generally, they won’t care whether you are baptized and give you any pressure on it!

From the beginning, I also told them that I am a freethinker and they don’t see me in one kind
