#EOX + Farewell Dinner

how time flies, end of first semester already!

this will be my first and last semester in university of melbourne

yup, decided to go to NUS!

most of my friends are going back

sean is going back tomorrow night

isaac going back Hong Kong on Monday

LiHui going back on 9 july!

hence, this is a sort of Farewell dinner

to be honest, i am really sad

although we only know each other for 3 months, we have strong bond

sometimes, relationship is very special, in a short period of time, we become best buddy

maybe because we are left our home, our comfort zone and this simple similarity brings as all together

i know Sean because of issac

i know Isaac because of Lihui

i know Lihui because of jaymus during collage

see, it is a circle

anyway, we had our LAST DINNER at Mapo 

it is quite far (5/551 Little Lonsdale) 

because i didn't bring myki card, Lihui and Stanley accompanied me walk all the way there

it was drizzling

see, this is the best example of being friends

when we reached there, Isaac was there already and have ordered the food

this is my FIRST time here

btw, also the FIRST dinner i had with Stanley

Stanley is from Hong Kong and usually we only have lunch together

TODAY HE JOIN US FOR FAREWELL

luckily Isaac booked the place if not i guess it is impossible for us to have a sit there!

talk about how's it going to be without me

actually i guess without me, they will still be fine and i really hope so

i hope that if i have chance to come back during holiday we still can be the same

maybe not so many common topics but we have Isaac!

so, won't have "empty air"

i will definitely miss all of you

at that moment, i wanted to cry, but i did't 

the only thing i can do to hide myself is just keep talking and act high

until the point that Sean wonder did i drink? 

PS: 4 of them drink beer/cider, i didn't, afraid that i cannot control myself crying

i really hope that this is not our last time being together and have a meal

yet,  it is!

writing this post make me feel like crying again!

Brunch session with LiHui and Isaac!
initially only LiHui and I
suddenly Isaac came out earlier for biology so manage to join us!

the deco of the shop is a bit retro
a bit warehouse style
but it is still packed
LiHui went there first to chop a place for us
outside there are people queueing

let's talk about the menu
it is famous of their bagel
most people ordered salmon, pulled pork or fruit and nut bagel

this is my second time here
the first time i came in the afternoon and it for dinner

GuoSoon and I walked around the city for food
cannot really get something that we wanted
so, i suggested CJ lunch
he never tried before
hence, brought him here to try their Cheese Chicken Spicy Bulgogi

the only thing is it is not SPICY enough

a bit sweet for me!

this only only cost $14 

comes with side dishes, fruit and a bowl of rice

usually can be shared among 2

i am not sure GuoSoon is hungry or not so we ordered another soup

it is spicy beef soup

but not spicy at all

i am quite disappointed of that

not really nice, maybe i am too picky 

the food is served very fast

usually the queue is about 15-10 minutes 

but we were quite lucky

as we only have 2 people and we are willing to sit outside

we dont even need to wait for sit!

the staff is friendly and nice

it is a place with good food and good price

FIRST time trying indonesia food in Melbourne
although i have a lot indonesian friends, we dont go out for indonesian food instead korean and japanese more often

anyway, here i am after Acts service!
17 of us tram down to king street to eat this
it is quite near southern cross
from outside, it looks nothing special
but inside, WOW!! crowed!!
because we have a huge group, we went upstairs
a bit like private function because we are the only one occupying the place!

sharing is caring, plus can taste more food and save $$
seriously, in Australia, the portion is big especially for girls
so sharing is one of the best ways to save money cum try a variety of dishes
my damage is only $12!

today's talk is about the touch of God
Pastor Kenneth came to Melbourne and he will be here for 2 weeks
he shared about a story of an old lady he met 18 years ago
it is a very touching story
she just went to a church service once and her life is totally upside-down
she parents are strong Buddhist (from the story, i think so) and hate christian very much
the old lady gave up everything, family, pride, comfortable life.....
just because of one time she went to church and she believe in Christ

i don't know why but compare to her my situation is much better
at least my dad don't really forbid me from going to Christianity activities
just than he don't like i am too into it
he claimed that i will be irrational if i am too deep inside
anyway, i believe i am doing the right thing now

seriously, i don't think i will give up everything i have right now and follow Jesus
maybe i am still not strong enough

God created me that cannot concentrate on studies at home!
no choice, have to go out!

tea time (but i take coffee!) ! Cake and Coffee is a classic!

have a mocha with a small slice of chocolate cake

it is dirt cheap! 3.90 for this combo!

the mocha is just normal

but the coffee art is quite cool

to be honest, the cake is not nice

i am really disappointed

i know the price is low, but the cake is too dry

not like a cake from a cakeshop

too sweet also

yet, is a good place to study, not many people there
leave there in 2 hours because i need to go toilet but there isn't any there! =P

i believe that's one of the reasons we can get along so well

talking about future
i guess my future will most probably in Singapore
since i am studying there
weather to talk up master is still a long way to go
need to complete my bachelor first

next week will be a pack week for me
monday chemistry, tuesday ESD and friday physic
chemistry i have confident to pass
but, is pass enough? i know it is not
i aimed high, seriously although i am leaving and cannot transfer any credit, i still want to try my very best
i love chemistry very much

spend the whole day shopping!
bought myself a boots and a pair of sneakers
the size is a bit too big but is the smallest size already

it is just outside spencer outlet central! =P

7Seeds Brunch-ing!

Brunch-ing is a culture in australia
i love brunch very much as well!
back in malaysia, my family usually have brunch everyweekends
because this is the only chance for us to sleep late, not to say we turned in late at night too!
so, i love this awesome culture here

brunch basically means breakfast and lunch!
there are many brunch places in melbourne
they do serve awesome coffee as well
although i am not a coffee lover, i like to spend my time there too!

last week, forget which day, Lihui inviting me for brunch to start our week
ended up at seven seeds!
this is not my first time here
the first time was with daddy and his friend
yet, this time i have brunch ! (last time only cuppocino!)
the shop is busy as usual

soy latte

i prefer latte than cuppucino

maybe i perfer "milk" more!

"soy" means they replace milk with soy milk

it is vegan as well

Isaac have the same thing as well

hmm... i think it cost around $14 ( not very sure)

it is a bit pricy (brunch in melbourne is not that cheap)

it called "sandwich" but it is actually burger!

LiHui said it is very filling

the fries is just normal but the dip is delicious!

i remember around $17

very aystralian brunch!

Isaac dont really like it

but it looks nice!
